The selection process of the Quebec Immigration for Skilled Workers is aimed to demonstrate the applicants who are most likely to adapt economically established immigration policies of Quebec.
Quebec has its own set of rules and regulations to issue visa for Skilled Worker applicants who are intending to reside in the Quebec, immigration policies for the rest of the Country are completely different as compare to Quebec. Selected candidates under the Quebec Immigration laws are issued a Quebec Selection Certificate (CSQ), with this they may apply for a Canadian Permanent Resident visa.
The new immigration policies regarding the maximum number of application for a Selection Certificate will be received by the immigration ministry and the selection process for this will be in effect for the period of 1 April 2015 to 31 March 2016. The selection process does not reflect any changes in the Quebec Immigration Objectives.
There are different set of criteria's needs to be fulfilled to qualify for a Quebec Selection Certificate for Skilled Worker applicants. An individual applicant must score at least 49 points and an applicant with a spouse or Common – law partner must score at least 57 points.

Candidates must produce language proficiency result to the immigration authorities. The agencies should be approved by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC). A photocopy of the result sheet needs to be enclosed with an immigration application.

How to apply to a school, college or university
Once you have chosen a place to study you will need to apply to that school, college or university. Every school has different rules on how to apply. Student Work Permit
Effective from 1 June 2014 government of Canada has initiated many policies for Overseas students, in order to help the overseas students there are many opportunities have been designed for foreign students, full time students does not require work permit and they can work up to 20 hours per week off campus work with study permit which is automatically authorised for this scheme. Candidates must be pursuing academic, vocational or professional training of six months or that reaches to a degree, diploma or certificate at a designated educational institute. After obtaining study permit students can immediately off campus rather than waiting for six months.
Students who intend to work in Canada needs to register and enroll at the designated educational institution, and they must get a Social Insurance Number (SIN) from Service Canada. There is no processing fee to apply for SIN.
Under the On-Campus work scheme students can work within the boundaries of the campus, here the employer might be the university, student organisation, or a private contractor working within the boundaries of the Campus. It includes university village, teaching hospitals, research institutes and many others which is affiliated with educational institute.
Overseas students who intends to participate in a co-op student or internship program must apply for a work permit as well as a study permit, the new rules have been effective from 1 June 2014. Foreign students can only take part in this program only if the work is an essential part of an academic, vocational or professional course offered by a designated learning institution.

Candidates who intend to migrate to Canada must fulfil the requirement of the each category put forth by the immigration department of the country, immigration authorities will award the points based on age, work experience, academic qualification and many other important factors will be considered for awarding points to the candidates.
Federal skilled workers can obtain points based on the following criteria’s such as, in the education criteria candidates can secure maximum of 25 points, through language proficiency skills they will be awarded 28 points, it can be done either in French or English language and work experience gives them maximum of 15 points. In the age criteria maximum of 12 points will be given to the candidate and many others.
Canada Permanent Resident (PR) process is designed for the migrant communities, in order to obtain Permanent Resident status candidate must be in Canada; they should have Permanent Resident status. CANADA EXPRESS ENTRY
Federal Skilled Worker Express Entry –Immigrants can immigrate as a skilled worker through "Express Entry". Under express entry program, federal skilled workers across 347 eligible occupations who meet minimum express entry criteria that can submit an expression of interest profile to the Express Entry Pool.
Canadian Work Experience Class (CEC) - Canadian Experience Class of Canadian immigration is for temporary foreign workers and international students who wish to immigrate to Canada as Permanent Residents.

FEDERAL SKILLED TRADES PROGRAM
Federal Skilled Trades Program - On January 1, 2015, completing an Express Entry profile will be the first step in immigrating to Canada permanently as a skilled worker under the: Federal Skilled Worker Program, Federal Skilled Trades Program, and Canadian Experience Class. Under the Express Entry system, Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) will invite people to apply for permanent residence based on the information they enter in an online profile. You cannot apply directly to any of these programs unless CIC sends you an invitation to apply (ITA).

[EXPRESS ENTRY] FEDERAL SKILLED TRADES PROGRAM
Federal Skilled Trades Program, you must:
1. plan to live outside the province of Quebec
2. have at least two years of full-time work experience
3.meet all job requirements

[EXPRESS ENTRY] CANADIAN EXPERIENCE CLASS

Canadian Experience Class As of May 1, 2014, there is an overall cap of 8,000 for new Canadian Experience Class (CEC) applications. There are also sub-caps of 200 for each National Occupational Classification B applications. These are the last applications CIC will accept under the current system before the launch of Express Entry in January 2015.
CANADA QUEBEC SKILLED WORKER PROGRAM
For Quebec Skilled Worker / Professional applicants who decide to reside and work in Quebec, they will be selected based upon a different set of criteria. Applicants who are successful under the Quebec Immigration selection system are issued a Quebec Selection Certificate, followed by a Canadian Permanent Resident (Immigration) Visa.

CANADA FEDERAL SKILLED WORKER
Federal Skilled Worker Express Entry will function as a 2-step process. First, candidates who are eligible for one of the federal economic immigration programs making an expression of interest in immigrating to Canada. Secondly, a portion of those candidates in the pool being issued invitations to apply for Canadian permanent residence. CIC has confirmed that as of Jan 1, 2015, eligible occupations will include all listed on NOC schedule 0, A and B, unlike the current Federal Skilled Worker Program.

Manitoba Invitation (Canada Skilled Immigration) is a one way for overseas skilled workers to establish the Connection to Manitoba required to be eligible to apply to the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program.

PROVINCIAL NOMINATION PROGRAMS (PNP) FOR SKILLED WORKERS
Provincial Nomination Programs (PNP) were originally designed for skilled workers. With the success of the skilled worker PNP, the programs have evolved.

CANADA SASKATCHEWAN 2015 QUOTA READY FOR NEW APPLICATIONS
Canada Saskatchewan SINP 2015 quota ready for new applications 5000 new quota for international applicants with occupations in demand (list attached) and have 60 out of 100 points with genuine intent to work and settle in Saskatchewan.

QUÉBEC EXPERIENCE PROGRAM (PEQ) - PROCEDURES ENTERED INTO EFFECT ON APRIL 1, 2014.

MANITOBA PROVINCIAL NOMINATION FOR SKILLED PROFESSIONALS
Individual or team of athletes , or members of an entertainment group, that are internationally recognised.
Manitoba will be able to nominate a maximum of 500 applicants through Express Entry in 2015. These applicants must also meet the minimum federal criteria for one of the three federal programs included in Express Entry.
Express Entry candidates nominated by Manitoba will receive an additional 600 points in their Express Entry assessment and will receive an Invitation to Apply for permanent residence from Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC). CIC has committed to faster processing times of 6 months or less for applicants through Express Entry.

NOVA SCOTIA PROVINCIAL NOMINATION FOR SKILLED PROFESSIONALS
Nova Scotia will launch a new immigration stream called Nova Scotia Demand: Express Entry. Nova Scotia will use the federal government’s new intake system, Express Entry, for the stream. Provinces must use federal skills and qualifications criteria to select immigrants.Nova Scotia Demand: Express Entry is a pilot project for 2015, replacing the Regional Labor Market Demand stream.

BRITISH COLUMBIA PROVINCIAL NOMINATION FOR SKILLED PROFESSIONALS
British Columbia is adding a new stream to the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) called Express Entry British Columbia. This new stream allows PNP to use CIC's Express Entry system to meet B.C.'s specific labour market needs.

To attract the global companies to invest in Canadian economy the government of Canada has created Canadian Immigrant Investor Program (IIP) or Canada Investor Visa, through this initiative government wants to promote the immigration of business people and families. With this program the qualified investors can obtain Permanent Resident status in Canada, under this program successful applicant and their family members will receive permanent Canadian residential visas and they are also eligible to obtain Canadian citizenship. The business friendly policies from the Canadian government to attract the investor has been well received by the investors, Canadian Investment Program has been considered as one of the most popular investor immigration program in the world. The criteria's under this program has not been changed since its inception and it is one of the least expensive investor programs.

BENEFITS OF CANADA INVESTOR VISA

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR CANADA INVESTOR VISA

Should have a minimum net worth of CDN$ 1.6 million, candidates must then invest CDN$ 800,000 with the Government of Canada for five years and it will be returned to the candidates OR they have to make a one –off, non- refundable payment of approximately CDN$ 120,000.
Once the application has been submitted under this program they are not allowed to switch to another program.

POINTS BASED SKILL ASSESSMENTS FOR CANADA INVESTOR VISA
This scheme involves a points based skill assessment; candidates who intend to migrate to Canada through this entrepreneur program will be rated on various parameters which includes academic qualification, business experience, age and language proficiency.

Business Experience
Under this parameter candidates are offered between 20 to 35 points for business experience and it has to be the experience gained in the five years prior to the submission of application.

Academic Qualification
Under parameter the candidates will be offered points based on their highest educational achievement, in this category candidate will get maximum points if they have Master's degree/ PhD and a minimum of 17 years of full time study.

Language skills
The candidates will be awarded points based on their language proficiency skills; they can select either English or French, the official language of Canada. Points will be awarded in the four abilities of speaking, listening, reading and writing.

Age
Candidates can get maximum points if he / she under the age group of 21 to 49. Candidate aged below 17 or over 53 will not get any points.

Quebec Investor Program
To be eligible for this Canada investment immigration visa, you must:
The applicant should have alone or with accompanying spouse assets worth CAD$ 16,000.00 obtained legally excluding the donations less than 6 months before the date on which application was filed
The applicant should have experience in legal framing, commercial or industrial business, or in a legal professional business where the staff excluding the investors occupies at least 2 full time jobs of equivalent for an international agency or a government or one of its departments or agencies
The management experience is defined as exercise for 2 years in the 5 years preceding application selection certificate like duties related to planning, management and control of financial resources and of human or material resources under authority. The experience acquired in context of an apprenticeship, training or specialization process is not included
You need to sign an agreement to invest CAD$ 800.000 with a financial intermediary (broker or trust company) authorized to when you intend to settle in Quebec and participate in the Investor Programme
